Twentieth Anniversary Cruise
Sydney Harbour
July 27th 2003

Just over 100 members and Guests climbed aboard the M.V. Proclaim on Sunday morning for a cruise organised by the Guild Committee to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sydney Woodturners Guild.

Sydney turned on one of it's magical mid-winters days and the four hour cruise on the most beautiful harbour in the world will not be easily forgotten.

Vice-President Keith Jeeves welcomed everyone and threatened that speeches would be made later in the day.

After a long and relaxed lunch, Keith briefly summarised the founding and growth of the Guild and the people who played a major part in it's life. Jude Austin described the upcoming 'Things Of Wood' exhibition after which guest speaker Richard Clark talked about Trend Timbers involvement with the Guild and his travel experiences.
