Neil Scobie lives in Lower Bucca in NSW, and currently has work on show and sale in many galleries and craft outlets. He is known to many of us through his articles in the Australian Woodworker and through his mail order plan service. Samples of Neil's work can also be seen in back issues of the Australian Woodworker.

Neil will show his methods of design, and how the original idea is transferred from his inspiration to a finished piece. This will include the use of holding jigs for carving, positioning legs and carving them on a piece, adding legs to a piece, shaping and carving the turned rim of a bowl, power carving and power sanding methods.
